![]() If you're looking for a limited program to quickly list your system information, then EtreCheck for Mac could be a viable choice, despite its lack of additional options. This easy-to-use application could be useful to users in need of assistance from the Apple Support Communities. The information loaded into the program quickly and accurately during testing and the copied information matched that in the program when transferred. This could then be pasted into a separate document or an e-mail for sending. The extensive information could then be copied to the clipboard by clicking the only menu button at the window's bottom. This includes information on the operating system, processor, memory, and log-in items, among many others. The program, itself, is a basic menu with a dated appearance that creates a list of system information. There did not appear to be any technical support or user manuals available, but the application's single feature and automatic operation made this unnecessary. It looks a bit dated, but couldn't be easier to use.Ĭlicking the downloaded file immediately opens EtreCheck for Mac. Have others noticed the same omission? Does anyone know if this will be restored? Is it possible that the update simply disabled a previous setting that turns this on/off?Īny ideas and/or suggestions greatly appreciated. For those who need a cheatsheet when contacting technical support, EtreCheck for Mac quickly creates a list of vital system information. Now, the only way I can know for sure is to open each app and check individually. After the first (or second) update to the OS (probably the "critical security update"), these numbers disappeared completely. But at least I knew there was something "in the queue". When I first migrated my data into the new MBP & OS, the numbers were always wrong, typically indicating a count that was two or three times the true count. As such, this indicator is quite helpful. I'm audibly alerted when something new comes in, but if I'm not at the computer, I could easily miss that alert and not notice the new message. This would be unread emails, messages, etc. Many of the icons in the Dock (mostly "social apps, like Mail, Messages, Messenger, etc) always had a number attached to them, which indicates how many unread items are waiting in the app. I noticed something rather odd that I had not seen on my older mid 2015 MBP15, still running flawlessly under High Sierra. I have tried to delete TCC.database in restore boot without success.Īnd if I try to run tccutil reset All, or Microphone, or anything it alway return a failed to reset item like the example below:ĭoes anyone have passed through a problema like this? I thinking in format and install everything again, but I have a lot of work nowadays and if someone have any clue to fix without a full format, will help me a lot!Ĭhanges and/or omissions in macOS Monterey My first introduction to macOS Monterey was with the purchase of MBP16 M1 in December, 2021. Privacy restrictions problem on macOS Monterey 12.2.1 After I've update Monterey to version 12.2.1, I don't know what happened but I started to have problems with privacy restrictions. can any one please help? thank you! ( hmm i need to get the standard report from that account ill post it in comments. I first ran it from my standard account, as I had hoped by keeping the Admin account logged out would be good, But it seemed I needed the admin info.so i ran etrecheck again in that, but the results dont add up. So this time I decided to download etrecheck quick smart. I noticed immediately there seemed to be some strange things happening - microphone active in system preferences even if I disabled dictation, voiceover etc.I seemed to be trying to connect to servers. Aside from that, and connecting to the wifi at home to setup, there is nothing on here, no email logins, just Brave Browser, and LogiGhub for my camera which I havent used yet. i was pretty certain it was one of two people perhaps, but regardless, i got a new refurbished macbook from backmarket, and upon set up made a new icloud - however I did add my phone number to verify. Hello, I have had a terrible time with my old icloud and Macbook being overrun by something, to the point where I couldnt even go online properly or change things in system preferences.
